Questions

Before you join.

The MVP is working locally and founding access is being prepared. These are the answers people ask for most.

What is FoundPeers?

FoundPeers is an iOS-first founder-discovery app built around focused profiles, nearby Map and List discovery, intentional connection requests, and curated in-person events — not a social feed.

Can I download FoundPeers yet?

Not from the public App Store yet. The working MVP is being tested locally while private founding access is prepared. Requesting access puts you on the founding-user list but does not guarantee an invitation or launch date.

How is this different from LinkedIn or X?

LinkedIn shows you a résumé and X shows you a feed. Neither answers the question founders actually have, which is who nearby is building something worth a conversation this week. FoundPeers is built around that question and has no timeline to scroll.

Who is FoundPeers for?

Founders, solo builders, early startup operators, and people running digital-product businesses — particularly anyone working across locations, where the cold-start problem of arriving somewhere new hits hardest.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

You get one confirmation email. After that you may receive occasional product notes, an invitation to a short founder interview, or a private testing invitation if you said you were open to one. You can unsubscribe from any email.

Will FoundPeers be free?

Pricing is not decided. Founding-user research exists partly to work out what is genuinely valuable before choosing a model. Requesting access costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Which cities does FoundPeers cover?

None yet, in the sense that matters — coverage depends entirely on where founding users are. The research is global rather than tied to one city, and where the app becomes useful first will follow where the density of early users lands.

Who is building FoundPeers?

Salmen Khelifi, an independent founder and engineer. FoundPeers is an independent pre-launch project rather than a funded company, and the person reading your waitlist replies is the person building the app.
